Last year (2014), I was given the opportunity to be a makeup designer for Brigham Young University's production of The Marriage of Figaro.

The show was double-cast and I had to design the makeups for 10 different characters, plus the chorus characters. It was a large production and quite stressful at times, but it was so much fun to work on and work with the actors, costuming, and lighting departments, as well as many others in BYU's theater department. Above are some of the designs.

The show ran beautifully, not to brag, and the actors were amazing. It was the first time I got to see my work on stage, and it was so rewarding to know that I was able to be a part of something bigger than me.
